This family was aggregated to the Messina nobility in the 19th century. Notable members include Giuseppe, who served as consul of the Sea in Messina from 1709-10; Paolo, pro-conservator in Messina in 1734 and senator in 1740-41; and Francesco, who was a straticotial judge in 1755 and a city senator in 1787-88-89, and again in 1798-99. Giuseppe, son of the late Giuseppe, was enrolled in the noble registry of Messina from 1798-1807. Paolo-Maria, a doctor of sacred theology and canon law, was abbot of Santa Lucia del Mela in 1850 and bishop of Miriofidi in partibus.
