Originating from Crema, according to Galluppi, this noble family enjoyed nobility in Messina from the 16th to the 18th century. An Antonio served as a straticotial judge in Messina in 1521-22, 1524-25, and 1527-28. Another Antonino is noted in Mollica's Mastra Nobile (list I, year 1587), which also lists a Francesco Maria (list XIII, year 1599), a Pompeo, an Angelo, son of the late Mario, and a Cesare (list XIX, year 1605). Another Antonino competed for noble offices in Messina in 1640, and another Francesco-Maria competed in 1656 and 1661.
